Eligibility criteria
Master's degree or equivalent (completed by Sept 2023)in relevant quantitative felds (e.g. mathematics, statistics,computer science, engineering, physics, bioinformatics,econometrics, infectlous disease epidemiology).
Research potential evidenced by academic performance and involvement in relevant academic activities.
Being an African national; citizenship or permanent residence in focus country is a plus.
Language profciency in the spoken language(s) of focus country/countries.
Excellent writing and communication skills.Willingness and ability to travel (training courses,collaborations, conferences).
• Female applicants are highly encouraged

The MENA Scholarship Programme offers Sudanese professional impact makers under 45 years training opportunities at Dutch education institutions in the Netherlands. This scholarship is offered by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the Shiraka programme and is managed by Nuffic.

The MSP programme is contributing to strenghtening organisations by enabling employees to take part in short courses in the Netherlands.

The Sudanese National Academy of Sciences received an invitation from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO programme) to support 2-3 candidates for PhD at the Institute of Urban Environment (IUE).

  The candidates are to study :

       Aspergillus spp & Aflatoxin in agricultural products in Sudan

   A brief proposal should be included in the application form.  More details to the proposal will be added when the applicant is accepted for support.
